What? And Leave Showbiz?

I’ve been meaning to write about an interesting article in last week’s New York Times entitled “What? And Leave Show Business?” about different actors around the country in various stages of their career arcs and varying degrees of success, professionally and personally. It has parallels across lots of professions, but I think it has even more resonance with earning a living as an illustrator. What came across to me in the interviews was the love of the craft that the actors had and the desire to keep on keeping on despite hard times.
