Urban Sketchers

Gabi Campanario a fine journalist and illustrator is starting up Urban Sketchers a multi-faceted online community that will showcase the drawings and observations of artists around the world who record everyday life in their cities on their sketchbooks. Gabi has collected a team of talented correspondents from around the world for this project. The have a blog, a Facebook page and most importantly to many of us a Flickr pool where anyone can post their drawn observations. A wonderful idea, and I am sure a lot of hard work and thought has gone into this endevour. I can’t wait to see it go live on November 1. Sketch by Enrique Flores, aka 4ojos, Madrid.
