The Ballot Box

Only four days to go until the midterm elections! Saw a very disturbing, very chilling documentary last night on HBO regarding the state of the American election system. Hacking Democracy will freak you out, but don’t let that prevent you from casting your ballot. Although it is clear that the electronic voting systems are fixed, subject to hacking and partisan shenanigans, the way i see it the more people that get to the polls the harder it will be to screw with the election. Additionally the more people that vote and feel that their vote was fiddled with, the hotter the outrage will be after the election. Maybe then and only then will something be done to rectify this broken system and pulling our right to vote out of the private sector. In the meantime vote Democrat on Tuesday and donate to Black Box Voting, true American heroes.
