Saul Steinberg. One of My Heroes.

There are two, count ’em two shows showcasing the work of Saul Steinberg opening in New York City. The shows are at the Morgan Library and the Museum of the City of New York through March 4, 2007. He is of my heroes for his line, his wit, his typography, and his conceptual genius. His line work, use of type and collage are always inspirational to me and I am sure to millions of fellow hacks around the world. I think a trip to New York is in store for me.

First off thanks for RSSing the blog. My wife and I are looking to make a scouting trip to the east coast in the next couple of months because we want to move back home after too many years here in teh Northwest. Definately on the itinerary will be the Steinberg shows. Would love to get together and see the show, chat and chew. I’ll keep ya posted.
