Pekar 1939-2010 Kupferberg 1923-2010 Davis 1945-????

On the same shitty day two iconoclastic legends have shuffle[d] off this mortal coil. Harvey Pekar, comic book author, curmudgeon and Clevelander for life, and Tuli Kupferberg, founding member of the Fugs, poet, author activist and cartoonist. Like I said it is a shitty day. The Rule of Threes and poetic justice means that a third must be taken. I wish no ill will on Jim Davis, or Cathy Guisewhite, or any other purveyor of popular drek, but come on take one for the team. Let me repeat I wish no ill will on anyone in this world, we all have to go, but to have two genius artists go on the very same day is no justice at all, poetic or otherwise.
