Orphan Works: Oppose/Support

While the Congress is busy bailing out Wall Street, it found time to pass S. 2913-The Shawn Bentley Orphan Works Act of 2008. Thanks for nothing douchebags. There is a markup of the bill which is HR 5889, since one of these giveaways to big business will become law, The Graphic Artists Guild is urging you to oppose S. 2913 and support HR 5889 which offers some small protections for your work, while we all keep on keeping on and fight for changes down the line in the new congress.
