Magazine Cover of the Year Finalists

Here are several finalists for the American Society of Magazine Editors Best Cover of the Year 2008. Go here to see all of the finalists, and no you will NOT see the most talked about, most controversial cover of the year as a finalist. How on earth could they omit the Barry Blitt, New Yorker cover of Barack and Michelle Obama fist bumping in the oval office I will never know. Seems rather bizarre that the cover that elicited the most buzz for the public for years didn’t make the grade.
