I Did Not Know That!

I am in Las Vegas this weekend accompanying my wife who is on Graphic Artist Guild business. I took the opportunity to catch a lecture by the great cartoonist, and illustrator Kim Deitch at the Vegas Valley Bookfest. I’m going to write about it when I get home, I forgot a cable for my camera to upload photos. In the meantime here’s something that knowitall me did not know. Kim’s father is the great Gene Deitch! I first came across Kim’s work when I was a teen in the early 1970s, but of course knew of Gene’s work on Tom Terrific and other UPA cartoons when I was still in diapers in the early 1960s! Wow!
