GOP vs Democratic Convention Podiums

Just saw this online at the Huffington Post. Top graphic is the podium of the Republican convention in St. Paul, the one at the bottom is the stage at the Democratic Convention in Denver.

Yeesh. This seems like yet another in a long series of instances
where the Repugs win big, with a simple, dumbed down message. Sure it’s
comparing apples to oranges with the RNC graphic versus a photo of the DNC
podium in progress, but it’s there for all to see.

RNC = Simple, clean,
patriotic, tributes to flag and country
DNC = A vision of a
complicated, cluttered tribute to…what?

This is my first impression, what really matters is how it plays on
teevee. Hopefully the “Hollywood, lefties” know what they’re doing in
that regard.
