Dick Clark Cartoon from 1987
By Mark Kaufman
Now that Dick Clark has died it’s about time that I post a cartoon I did for LCD, the WFMU program guide from way back in 1987. Detail of the comic above, to see the whole thing which has Dick’s age defying secrets, sex, cannibalism, and missing children go here. And yes, my drawing style was a bit rough, and double yes, my lettering was TERRIBLE, but keep in mind this was 25 years ago, I only suck half as much now. This also appeared in the book The Best of LCD: The Art and Writing of WFMU from Princeton Architectural Press.
