American Affairs Desk: A New Comic Strip By Mark Kaufman

I’m just about to head out for a long awaited, long deserved, long weekend. I just got some amazing news that I wanted to throw out into the ether. I have been churning out a ton of editorial illustrations, comics, and random nonsense for The Stranger for years now, and I have just been given a coveted, regular spot on the comics page for something I call American Affairs Desk. I am very, very excited about the prospect. It came out of the blue, so I just need to keep experimenting with the form, learn how to use punctuation, and we’ll see how it goes. A big thanks to Design Director, Aaron Edge and Editor, Dan Savage. On that note, so long suckers!
