He Says What I’m Thinking Poster by Mark Kaufman

Happy to say this anti Trump poster design entitled He Says What I’m Thinking, has been granted a prestigious American Illustration 36 award. The original idea was created as a protest sign on display at The Nib art gallery in Philadelphia during the 2016 Democratic Convention. The posters were displayed in the gallery and hit the streets during the convention. It all seems so trivial and so very long ago now. I subsequently altered this and it will go on sale on my Society Six page soon.

That this depiction of the American zietgeist has been deemed by my peers to be worthy of  recognition proves one thing and one thing only. It’s all going to shit and we’re all gonna die, but #winning!
